ANZAC bisuits

An old biscuit recipe found in the kitchen drawer (it'd be well over 30 years old).  I don't remember making these, and I didn't recognise the handwriting.


Oven:  150°


  1. Melt butter & golden syrup in saucepan.
  2. Mix bicarb soda with boiling water,
    & add to butter & syrup.
  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Pour butter syrup mix in.
  1. Put teaspoons of mix onto greased tray.
  2. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Cool for a few minutes on tray,
    then place on a wire cooling rack.
