About this review

I wrote this after not being able to find out anything about this player, and encountering a few things that I found annoying enough to write about.

The pictures of unit were taken by capturing the video output from an industrial grade F250 3 chip CCD camera, on a Life View Fly Video '98 TV capture card (which is of mediocre quality).  The pictures of the remote control were done using a flat bed scanner.  And the screen grabs from the player were captured from the players S-Video output, using the same capture card.

DVDs tested were:  (all Zone 4 discs)

The machine reviewed was purchased from Myer, at Tea Tree Plaza, in Modbury, South Australia, in September 2001, for approximately $330 (Australian).

As the author of this review, I hereby declare that I make no claim to copyright to any of this material.  You are free to duplicate this at will.  Any images reproduced from the DVD menus may be copyrighted to the developers of the DVD player.  No screen shots were taken of DVD playback (it'd give no real indication of picture quality, anyway, as my video capture card isn't up to the task).  The photographs were taken by me.
