Tim's Cheese Scones
Ingredients
- 500 g SR flour
- ½ level teaspoon salt
- several shakes black pepper
- 300 g grated cheese
- 60 g melted butter
- 300 ml milk
Method
- Preheat oven to 230°C
- Mix all the dry ingredients together (add the cheese last)
- Melt the butter and mix in the milk
- Pour the liquid into the dry ingredients and mix everything
together
- Turn out onto a floured surface and knead well
- Roll out with a floured rolling pin to about 4 cm thick
- Cut into your preferred scone-sized shapes
- Place onto floured, or baking-paper lined, oven tray
- Bake for about 12 minutes
