When the camera is powered up, and not connected with a CCU it comes on in the auto-preset mode, this sets several modes at once, and disables most of the controls on the side of the camera (the auto-iris adjustment control, and the zebra pattern indicator on/off switch, still work).
When connected to a CCU, the auto-preset is forcibly disabled, and cannot be re-enabled.
